Helping Young Minds Soar

Corporate citizenship seems to be the talk of the town these days.  More and more companies are stepping up to give back to their communities in myriad ways, playing a meaningful part in making where we all work and live a better place.

One way that  630 Aerospace gives back to the South Florida community is through our support of vital programs such as Miami’s Arsht Center KITTY HAWK Program.  This unique education program uses the power of musical theater to introduce middle school children to the world of aviation and fuel dreams that one day they might be part of this exciting field.

According to the innovative educators at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, KITTY HAWK addresses barriers to science and math education among young Latino, African-American and female teens in Miami-Dade County Public Schools – the second-largest “minority-majority” school system in the United States – by integrating the ARTS into SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH learning.  To date nearly 30,000 Miami-area students have enjoyed the KITTY HAWK experience.  Click here to learn more about KITTY HAWK.
